Through lots of hard work under the hot sun, and just enough encouragement and direction from me, mom and dad picked a whole bunch of beautiful strawberries. Ever the bargain hunters, m&d brought their basket from last year and saved a whole dollar. We got an entire gallon of fresh ripe strawberries for a mere $8! And that's not counting all the berries that were intercepted before they got to the basket. Not bad! Unfortunately, I'm not on solids yet so I didn't get to try them. But strawberry milk for a few days is a decent deal, I guess. Can't wait for next year! Here is our basket when we were halfway done:

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of me with daddy's parents on Mother's day. I don't know how that happened. Too much commotion I guess!

Or as my Spanish-speaking imaginary friend Javier calls it, "Ensambladura de los pantalones del Olivier." This is my tiny window to the world, where I keep friends and family in the know about my exciting life as a baby. My parents help out a little here and there, since I can't read or write yet, let alone type. But they are really just technically implementing my artistic vision for this blog. Enjoy!
