More fun times!

Here are a couple cute pictures of me from August. I didn't really do a whole lot of exciting stuff that month. That's not true, everything is exciting for a baby. Really, I think mom just got a grip and put down the camera for more than 10 seconds at a time. Anyway, on with pictures!

Here I am mastering the push-up. And boy do I look good doing it.

Here I am with Grandpa Jim again. Handsome fellows, we two.
And here I am dressed as John Wayne!

And here I am riding around the kitchen on mama's back.
And finally, here I am with mama on the couch.
Next you get to hear all about my trip to California! Stay tuned.

I'm BACK, BABY!

This is what I know you've all been waiting for. I am finally back in action after TWO months of being MIA. Mom was alternating between being too busy and too lazy to help me out here. (My coordination is still somewhat lacking, you know.) And then, there was too much to catch up on, so it became too daunting. But to heck with it! We'll start anew.

So, as I'm now 6 months old, a full THIRD of my life thus far has gone undocumented by this blog. A crying shame really. (And I know all about crying.) So I think some highlights from the missing time are in order.

The summer is pretty much over now, but we got to spend some fun time at the lake with family. Here I am with Grandpa Jim. I was around 4 months old at this point. We look so cool in our (almost) matching hats, don't we?
Here I am relaxing at the lake(same day, different outfit), looking dapper:

And hey, just call me Skipper! I may technically be too young for a boating license, but no one has to know it was really ME steering most of the time, not Grandpa.

Here I am, chillin' around the house some time in my 4th month, sitting in my sweet camp chair. This is what I look like after a throwing back a few (bottles of mama's milk!)
That brings us up to around August. More to come!

Meet my stick friends!

Here I am meeting Mr. Bearhead Beadbody. I've never had a friend quite so colorful, and as you can see, the introduction was a bit overwhelming.

And here I am with Mr. Giraffehead Stickbody. I'm admiring his lovely red spots as we chat about the weather in the plastic excersaucer jungle. Moments later, I tried to eat his face.

And here, Mr. Bearhead has just let me in on the latest gossip. Apparently, it's gotten around that I've had a hard time controlling my face-eating impulses, and the other plastic jungle stick animals are a little wary of spending time with me. "*gasp!* But it's not true! I can do better!"

Here I am emphatically insisting that I won't eat any more of their faces. (I'll only taste. One or two good licks won't hurt anyone.) "You've gotta believe me!" I said to him.

And here I am, sad and lonely in my plastic excersaucer jungle, ostracized from the stickfriend group. (well not really, I was actually staring intently at that orange thing. But I sure look like I'm pouting, don't I? Let's go with that.)

And here I am, having just received word that the plastic jungle stickfriends have decided to play with me once again, provided I don't bite. Hooray! All smiles once more...

For the record, I don't ACTUALLY live in my excersaucer or my jumperoo 24/7. Mom just finds it a great opportunity to take pictures of me doing stuff during the day when it's just the two of us, as I can't sit up on my own yet.

Bike Power!

Mommy and Daddy like to use me as a baby-sized activist billboard sometimes. But I'm cute, so it's not a bad idea-- softens people up and such.

Seriously guys

Do they ever get tired of taking pictures of me all the time?

Come on! Get a real job!

Mom and dad may be vegetarians....

....but I like to snack on anything that gets in my path!
Giraffes...

And Elephants...

And Bears...
OH MY!

No, actually, here is evidence of how I truly love them...
